The GWJO: 10 Years, One Night
The GW Jazz Orchestra returns to Blues Alley for our most anticipated performance of the year, and this time, we’re celebrating a decade of music. The GWJO: 10 Years, One Night marks our 10th anniversary, coinciding with Blues Alley’s 60th, making this a night you won’t want to miss. Join us at 9:30pm for an unforgettable evening of swing, soul, and everything in between at one of the most legendary jazz clubs in the world. This is our final show of the season, and it’s set to be our biggest yet.

Join us for our annual holiday concert, where we’ve got a full night of jazz, funk, and lots of holiday music to lift your spirits before the end of the Fall semester. Come listen to some great music for free with your friends and family to celebrate the end of the year together! Doors will open at 6:30pm, and music will begin at 7:00pm.

Every year our band is different, and this annual tradition let’s us reintroduce ourselves to the community in the Fall while the weather is still nice. As always, we will be performing a variety of styles, and showcasing the talent of our outstanding GWJO musicians. No tickets necessary!
First Night x Org Fair
This year GW is combining two campus traditions, with First Night festivities being combined with the University-wide Org Fair! Alongside many other student organizations, GWJO will have a table where you can come ask questions about our organizations, sign up for auditions, and learn more about a great community of musicians. We’ll also be giving out candy and GWJO Stickers!
Music Org Fair
Join us on Friday, August 23rd from 5:00-7:00pm in Philips Hall B120 to meet all the music GW has to offer! Come hear from all kinds of music student orgs and find your place on campus. GWJO will have a table for you to ask questions, sign up to audition, and talk about music at our university.
