The GW Jazz Orchestra (GWJO) can offer small ensemble “combos” tailored for a variety of events and performance spaces. Our combos create the perfect ambience for mingling and enjoying refreshments, while also providing outstanding showcase entertainment when needed.

Our team collaborates closely with event coordinators to customize our services, ensuring they meet the specific needs and constraints of each event.
Auditions
Auditions for the band are held for all instruments at the beginning of each Fall semester, and for any remaining open spots at the beginning of the following Spring semester. The available spots and audition pool vary each year, but we are always looking to add more talented and dedicated student musicians to the band.
The audition sign-ups and schedule will be posted as we approach the start of the Fall semester.
